YOUR WATCH. YOUR DATA.
Delete local data
GoBack and GoBack PRO do not have user accounts or a cloud copy of your routes. You manage stored sessions and preferences on the watch.
Deletion is permanent. Finish any active navigation first and make sure you no longer need the stored information. We cannot restore deleted sessions.
Remove all data for an edition
- On the watch, open the system settings for apps and select GoBack or GoBack PRO.
- Where available, open Storage and choose Clear data / Clear storage. Clearing only the cache is not sufficient.
- If the watch does not provide this control, uninstall that edition to remove its private local data. A later reinstall starts without the deleted data.
Menu names vary by watch and Wear OS version. Clearing storage or uninstalling removes that edition's local session database, preferences and local diagnostic files. The other edition has separate storage and is not cleared automatically.
Remove one archived excursion in PRO
Open Archive, select the completed excursion, scroll to Delete and follow the app's controls. This removes the excursion and its associated checkpoints, recorded positions, raw location samples and session telemetry. Separate position-free native diagnostics may remain until app storage is cleared.
Important for GoBack Free
Free has no accessible archive. Finishing a session makes its Start unavailable for navigation, but completed private records may still remain on the watch. To remove them, clear the edition's storage or uninstall it as described above.
Permissions and copies you shared
Revoking location permission stops access to new location readings; it does not delete existing records. Clearing app data does not remove screenshots, exports or emails you have saved elsewhere. Delete those separately from their respective locations.
Messages sent to support
To request deletion of correspondence you sent us, email support@binarybears.com from the address used for that correspondence. We can address information we hold, subject to applicable retention obligations, but cannot remotely access or erase data that exists only on your watch.
